There were many unknown things for me about computers, and through attending this course, I feel more familiar about them than before. However, there are still what I want to know, that is, how to use Excel. It is very hard for me to calculate by Excel. I have to type the formula. The other day I wanted to sum 23 different numbers up; however, to finish this, I spent a long time, which I could calculate them by myself. Thus, I wanted to learn it in the class; nevertheless, I have the best home page, Poza.net/sp07!!! Therefore, I do not need to worry about it! I may be able to understand how to use Excel by looking at the site! I must say thank you for creating always-available and virtual textbook to Mr. Poza.

What is Viral Video???

A Viral Video is a video clip which is watched by many people on the Internet, e-mails, or chats, blogs etc.

For me, the best example of viral videos is Youtube as mentioned in the class. I love to watch music videos of American singers. For example, this following video is the performance by Christina Aguilera in the 49th Grammy Award. She sang for James Brown, and the audience is very excited!! I was EXCITED, too!!!!

Not only for English speaking countries but also for other countries like Japan, people can be user of here. It is extremely amazing!

However, there is a problem of portrait right, I think. Not only for entertainment, but we have to consider about it.

Computer gifts you would buy for friends & family

If I send a computer gift to my friends, I would present a "post pet" soft. When I was in my hometown, I used "Post Pet" mail soft. Pets are so cute and my pet was turtle named Kametaro. One day the first Kametaro was gone, and the second Kametaro left my home quickly, and then I create the third Kametaro. I hope he is still alive. It was very cute and interesting because my pet sends an e-mail instead of me and sometimes he sends a letter for me, which is very unique. However, none of my friends had that soft. I was disappointed because I could not enjoy e-mail with my friends. Therefore, in order to have fun with them I need to send a Post Pet soft.

According to Susan Crawford, The Internet's transport layer should not be shaped in accordance with particular applications but should rather provide only the transport service appropriate to the careful file transfer that was defined in the early 1970s as the Internet's canonical application. Timing of packet delivery is a form of anti-competitive discrimination. Open access would promote network neutrality.

Why people argue is that, for example, if someone paies more money to get faster Internet connection, one may be priored. This can be an invasion, so many people want to be equal.

According to the report of a research by NPO Pew Internet & American Life Project of the United States, 34 percent of Internet users are using wireless Internet. This research was polled among 2373 people above 18 years old, and 798 people were Internet users. Three fourth of 34 percent stated that they use the wireless Internet in both their working place and house or more than two places; in addition, they are relatively checking their e-mail and online news more often. Moreover, 80 percent of them are using laptop computers. As this result, I assume that many people ask for portability, and this tendency will lead more convenience of computers and decrease in price of wireless Internet in the future.

What Is "Social Engineering"?

Actually I did not know what Social Engineering really means in the term of computer science. Therefore, I researched on the Internet, and according to e-Words, it is to obtain the important information like passwords by “Social” ways such as conning or eavesdropping from users or owners of the network. For example, a person watches the keyboard when someone is typing a password behind him or her, or a person searches for something related to important, individual information in the garbage of the office, or a person, who pretends as an owner, calls or sends e-mails to users and get the significant information, saying “you need to re-input your password because we will change our service into new one. ” I felt scary through reading the article.

Mac! Mac!! Mac???

Mac - What I Know About -

First meeting between Mac and I was when I was 10 (maybe) and visited the house of my neighboring friend near my house, there were three or four Mac in her house because her family is consist of four members, each might have had their own Mac. When I entered into her house for the first time, I was so surprised at her family’s high technological atmosphere. Then she manipulated Mac like she was using MAGIC because her name is Mahoro (sounds like Mahou, magic in Japanese). Then I was really addicted to a game called “Theme Park” (do you know this game by Bullflog, which we can create an amusement park virtually by adding attractions, shops, roads, trees, bathroom, and so on?) My first impression of Mac was KEWL, even that type of Mac was extremely old! However, I do not know about Mac, and I was so surprised because the world share of Mac was only three to five percent. Therefore, what I knew about Mac is that Mackintosh produces more stylish and brand-new productions.

What I Want to Learn about Computers

Infinity

...is a word that represents computers in my mind. I might have known some features of computers already, but I think still more wonderful world exists in computers.

First, I want to know the more technical use of computers, such as using keyboard shortcuts. We have already learned a little of them, and I felt they are really great because of their fastness and easiness instead of hardness of remembering them. However, once I remember, it really works well!

Second, I would like to know about how computers were developed, and how they would be able to advance in the future. For example, Mr. Poza introduced a new mobile phone, which will be produced by Mac, cheerfully. Thus, I want to know something like that of future computers.

The more I know about computers, and the more I am interested in computers; therefore, I cannot wait what kind of infinity will be coming next!!!!
